Starbucks Attacks Again: The Return of the Bloody Snowman 2013

It's that time of year again: red cups at Starbucks. The crimson cup is as indicative of the holiday season as manger scenes and Christmas lights, but just when you thought it was safe to go to your local Starbucks to grab a delicious Salted Caramel Mocha or a similarly sweet Peppermint Mocha, Starbucks proves otherwise! Yet again Starbucks has placed a red scarf on its sugar cookie snowman despite the fact that the first part typically broken off is the snowman's head...leaving, you guessed it, a bloody trail. Either Starbucks is just having fun with us or they really haven't thought this through. Purple scarves, blue scarves, green scarves...anything but red would be okay here, Starbucks. In the meantime, I'm going to avoid the snowman massacre (...but more because I like my abs and that's just way too much sugar). Be careful out there this holiday season!
